Gov. Perry Renews Proclamation Extending Drought Emergency

AUSTIN -- Gov. Rick Perry has extended the drought emergency proclamation from last year.
Gov. Perry cited the record high temperatures and low rainfall resulting in low reservoir and aquifer levels.
The declaration issues a state of disaster for the following counties:
