Grass Fire off I-40

AMARILLO - Firefighters responded to a grass fire off I-40 Saturday afternoon.
The fire started just off I-40 East near exit 81
According to Amarillo Police on scene, the fire most likely started from a cigarette butt.
The grass fire was under control before it reached any homes.
It burned across about a quarter mile of land.
