ballot boxFRITCH -- The people of Fritch have spoken. Saturday they elected an eighteen year old to the city council. Lee Stitzel is the oldest of ten homeschooled siblings. He spent two hundred fifty dollars on his campaign and knocked out five other candidates for the spot. As part of his agenda, Stitzel says he'd like to make Fritch cleaner and safer. "As far as presentability goes I'd like to make sure the city does it's job in taking care of it's property and getting main street cleaned up. Just getting Fritch a new clean look," says Stitzel. Lee graduates from high school Saturday and is sworn into office next Tuesday. As far as running for president someday, he's leaving his options open.
