TEXAS COUNTY -- Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin declared a state of emergency for all Oklahoma counties because of the drought.

Fallin says her administration is prepared to help provide the help needed as Oklahomans deal with the drought.

The Executive Order allows the state to make emergency purchases related to disaster relief and preparedness. It also sets the stage for federal assistance if needed.

The state of emergency lasts 30 days. It can be amended later if needed.

The Executive Order is at http://www.sos.ok.gov/documents/Executive/854.pdf.
