Deadly Accident

DALHART -- A Dalhart woman is dead after a wreck Sunday. 50-year-old Dwan Goldsmith Elam was 10 miles east of Dalhart when she ran a stop sign. A truck then hit her. She died at the scene. A 5-year-old passenger in Elams car was injured. The driver of the truck was fine. All involved were wearing seat belts.
