VEGA -- In Vega, a small crowd gathered around hundred four year old Mamie Price.
Two of her sons fought in World War Two, another in the Korean War.
All three men have passed away.
Mamie also has another living son and nephew who've served in World War Two.
From the Civil War to the war in Iraq, a hundred seventy-five veterans from Vega have been laid to rest.
"They're not totally forgotten but they're forgotten in so much as the sacrifice that they made. Plenty of times that does not get honored except for this day," says Hayden Willhite an Army Veteran.
The American Legion has held this ceremony in Vega for more than forty years now.
