AMARILLO -- A church is helping families hurting from gas prices.
The Church at Quail Creek is giving eight hundred families two sacks of food each.
This Sunday, the church will have food and fun in the sun.
The first eight hundred to register will walk away with the goods.
They call it the Manna Festival.
"Our discussion on doing the Manna Festival began with three dollar and twenty-nine cent cent a gallon gas. We just, there's so many hard working folks that have a little bit more harder time making ends meet, " says Michael Pinkston from Quail Creek.
The festival starts this Sunday at four.
The church hopes to make this an annual festival.
