AC's Hereford Campus Gets Grant

HEREFORD -- Uncle Sam is kicking-in a million dollars to help equip Amarillo College's Hereford campus.
The US Department of Commerce Grant is through the economic development administration.
The money will be used to support students in so-called "stem" fields, those include; science, technology, engineering and math.
Hereford's Training and Development Center is set to open next fall and will prepare students for more diverse careers in the future such as alternative energy.
