Food Festival Aimed at Helping Ease Pain at the Pump

AMARILLO - A brand new event kicked off in Amarillo Sunday afternoon. The Church at Quail Creek hosted its first-ever Manna Food Festival. 800 families received two bags of groceries. Organizers came up with the idea when they noticed gas prices climb to $3.29 in the area. The goal of the event was to help ease pain at the pump for families.
