AMARILLO -- A Randall County grand jury decides not to charge the suspect who shot and killed another man outside of the suspect's home back in August.
45-year-old James Larsen was shot during the fight outside a home on the 8200 block of Progress.
Randall County District Attorney James Farren says a grand jury decided not to press charges.
Farren says Larsen and the suspect were involved in an ongoing dispute over a relationship between Larsen and the suspect's soon to be ex-wife.
According to investigators Larsen showed up at the suspects home that night and took off on the suspect's motorcycle.
That's when a fight ensued.
Farren also says the suspect was badly injured.
The suspect was also reportedly giving Larsen CPR when the ambulance showed up.
Farren says new Castle Doctrine in place in the State of Texas applied to the case.
