This year Halloween spending hits a record. At least 170 million people will celebrate this year-- that's seven in ten Americans. It's the biggest number since the national retail federation starting tracking Halloween spending ten years ago. The average person will spend just under $80 on costumes, candy, and decorations. Total spending projected to reach $8 billion.
