AMARILLO -- This Saturday, the Panhandle Team Penning Association is hosting over 500 two-person teams to compete throughout the day in team sorting.
The youth competition starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Bill Cody Arena at the Amarillo Tri-State Fairgrounds and proceeds until all classes have competed on Saturday. The teams come from all over to compete.
All proceeds will go to benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness. Last year the Go Pink event netted $8,000 for this cause and this year the PTPA hopes to beat that number.
