Photo Lineup Catches Robbery Suspect in Northeast Amarillo

AMARILLO -- Amarillo Police were called out around 4:30 p.m. to the area of NE 15th and Manhattan on Wednesday on a personal robbery.

The victim was threatened with a knife and robbed of his personal belongings.

The victim pointed officers to a house on the 800 block of Arapahoe where the robbery took place.

The victim was shown a photo lineup and the suspect was identified. Officers found the victims personal belongings in the house.

24-year-old Shawn Whitney was arrested and booked into the Potter County Jail for Aggravated Robbery.
