Federal Grand Jury Indicts Hugo Beltran-Ruiz on Drug Charges

AMARILLO -- A Federal Grand Jury handed down a two-count indictment against Hugo Beltran-Ruiz.
The 42-year-old Beltran-Ruiz was pulled over on I-40 last month and troopers found 10-pounds of meth in his vehicle.
Beltran-Ruiz is facing one count each of Conspiracy to Distribute 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Deliver 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.
