Early Morning Robbery at Old Corral Coffee Club

AMARILLO -- Early this morning, Amarillo Police were sent to a robbery at the Old Corral Coffee Club at 1301 S. Taylor.
An employee told police that she returned to the main room after opening and turning on the lights and found the suspect standing in the main room.
The suspect had his hand in his jacket pocket and gestured toward her as though he had a gun. The suspect told the victim that he just needed the money.
Police say the employee placed the cash drawer on the counter. The suspect took the money bag from the drawer and ran from the building.
The victim was not injured and there were no arrests.
