Pampa Power Plant Goes Out With a Boom

PAMPA -- A power plant that's stood for over 50 years outside of Pampa has been taken down.
KCIT FOX 14'S Austin Bagwell was on scene at the Celanese Chemical plant, to witness the spectacular explosion.
The plant opened up in 1952. In its stead the Pampa Energy Center promises to provide a facility that will spur economic development and more employment opportunities.
