Suspects Caught in October Home Robbery, Home Owner Tied Up During Robbery

AMARILLO -- Two Suspects in a October home robbery have been arrested. You may remember that the home owner was tied up and dragged around the house during the robbery.

On December 17, William Xoumphonphakdy and Pangnha Sam were charged with Aggravated Robbery. Xoumphonphakdy and Sam were already in custody at the Potter County Detention Center on other charges at the time the charges were filed. 
Amarillo Police first received information about the suspects on November 8 when they received a call that a stolen vehicle was in a driveway of a vacant home in the 400 block of S. Maryland. Responding officers found the robbery victim's stolen pickup there. The vehicle was returned to the owner. 
Robbery detectives continued their investigation into this incident, and developed evidence to support charges of aggravated robbery against two individuals. The detective also recovered the victim's stolen television set, a ring, and home stereo unit from various locations related to the investigation. 
The investigation into this case is continuing, and anyone with additional information on this case can call Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. Callers with information leading to an arrest can qualify for a reward of up to $1000.
