Amarillo Man Charged with Murder in Lefors

LEFORS -- On Thursday, Texas Rangers arrested and charged 28-year-old Joshua Keith Rigo of Amarillo with murder, a felony of the
first degree, in the death of Kristi Dawn Slatten.
Rigo was in custody in the
Carson County Jail for the original charge of Unauthorized Use of a Motor
Vehicle. Rigo's bond was set at $300,000 and he remains in custody at the
Carson County Jail.
Texas Rangers and the Gray County Sheriff's Office continue the investigation.
