CANYON- Things are looking a little brighter now at Palo Duro Creek Golf Course.
For many years, the course was watered using Palo Duro Creek.
The water was too dirty and actually hurt the grass.
About five years ago new owners started using two wells.
Those only put out about 77,000 gallons a day.
The city took over the course in December and now they use their own water.
They put out 300,000 gallons a day.
City officials says the water usage wont affect citizens.
They are expected to have the same prices and amount of water available.
