Suspect Flees After Attempted Robbery

AMARILLO -- Amarillo Police Department respond to an attempted armed robbery on Amarillo Boulevard East Saturday morning.
At around 10:50 AM manager of Aaron's Rent to Own was walking to his car from the business, when a black male approached him. The suspect the pointed a large handgun and demanded money.
A small fight broke out between the two, before the suspect took off on foot towards Lakeview Apartments. He would take off in what is described as a white Oldsmobile. The incident is being investigated.
