Woman Found Dead Has Ties to Amarillo

MOOREHOUSE PARISH, LA -- A woman with ties to Amarillo is found dead in Louisiana.
Authorities confirm that the body they found in a ditch, near Bastrop, LA, was Julia Hong Vogel.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide.
Her body was found on Jan. 15th.
Vogel spent about two months in the Potter County Jail, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, between Oct. and Dec. of last year.
