DUMAS -- The Texas Department of Healthy and Human Services will be in Dumas Tuesday after a suspected case of tuberculosis is discovered at one of the schools.
The state health department alerted school officials last week that a student at the Dumas Intermediate school may be infected.
That student has been removed from the school and letters have been sent to parents of the other students warning them about the possible infection.
The Health department will test other students at the school Tuesday to find out if anyone was infected with the contagious disease.
The affected student's Identity has not been released.
