Major Delays for Bus Riders

Amarillo -- People in Amarillo who depend on buses for transportation have experienced major delays recently. Monday, eleven of the citys 23 buses went out of service. The city says due to the summer heat, the buses need major repairs. Many of these buses are 10 years old, since they have to keep them at least that long to get federal funding. To fix the shortage the city is running on its Saturday schedule. They hope to have most buses back in service by Wednesday.
