DPS Trooper Seize more than 4 pounds of Meth

AMARILLO -- A Saturday traffic stop by DPS on IH-40 yielded 4.24 pounds of meth.
Lizeth G. Soto-Duarte, 28, was arrested after the traffic stop was conducted seven miles east of Conway in Carson County on eastbound I-40.
During the traffic stop, the trooper conducted a search of the vehicle and meth was discovered in two bundles located inside the liner of suitcase located in the vehicle.
The driver was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, a first degree felony, and booked into the Carson County Jail.
The meth was valued at $162,810. The drugs were allegedly being transported from Phoenix, Arizona, to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
