Number One Lady Buffs Make School History, Erwin Recognized

CANYON -- The Lady Buffs softball team made school history on Wednesday after being named the number one team in the nation.
WT holds a 19-1 record.
Lady Buff outfielder, Renee Erwin, was named the NFCA hitter of the week and the LSC hitter of the week. In the last five games, the sophomore hit .645 with three doubles, two triples, and two homeruns (two being grand slams).
WT will travel to play Midwestern State for a three-game series on Friday and Saturday.
