High Speed Chase in Amarillo

AMARILLO -- A high speed chase ends with an arrest in Amarillo.
Oldham County Sheriff's office received a call from Tucumcari on a theft from a local truck stop around 1:30.
The suspect was traveling east bound on I-40, in a black Dodge pick-up
DPS would get involved in the chase in-between amarillo and oldham county at 2:03 P.M. Spikes strips were used, and the car was finally stopped at the intersection of 8th and F avenue.
Suspect was arrested, but taken to the hospital as a pre-caution.
