The arrival of spring means warmer weather, more outdoor activities and shedding layers of winter wear. With the average American gaining up to five pounds during cold winter months, it also means pushing to lose that extra padding by summer. With spring picnics, parties and weddings (and all that feasting that's included), the added pounds only tend to multiply for many. Its possible to enjoy life - and all the celebrations that come with it - while eating healthier and developing wellness habits.
Jason Roberts, a native New Zealander, got his start as a top Executive Chef in Australia and after a successful stint, moved to television. He hosted a daily cooking show on Australia's Channel 9 for four years before making his initial breakthrough in the US, with several appearances on talk shows in 2003, notably Good Morning America. Hes published two cookbooks - Elements and Graze: Lots of Little Meals Fast. He filmed an award-winning cooking show pilot in the US, while serving as Global Brand Ambassador for iCook. Currently, he is a correspondent for ABCs The Chew and makes regular appearances for events such as The Fabulous Food Show.
