AMARILLO -- The Amarillo police officer who saved a woman from a burning house was honored Tuesday at City Hall.
It happened in north Amarillo a couple of weeks ago.
Officer Dewayne Griffin was chasing some suspects when he came across the burning house. Griffin went in and pulled 70-year-old Bobby Jean Miller out.
Investigators say the fire was arson.
The three suspects were arrested and charged.
