WTAMU Announces Bust The Bowl 2

CANYON, Texas - WT set a single-game attendance record in 2005 when 22,993 fans showed up to watch the Buffs defeat Eastern New Mexico in a thrilling 52-51 overtime Homecoming football game.

    We think the Panhandle is ready to set another record, so...

    One fan in attendance will win $22,994 - courtesy of Amarillo National Bank - if a new attendance record is set at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium on Oct. 13, 2007, when the Buffs again take on Eastern New Mexico in a Homecoming battle for the Wagon Wheel.

THE FINE PRINT
      In order to pay the prize, 15,000 tickets must be sold before 5 pm on Thursday, October 11. If 15,000 tickets are pre-sold, one fan is guaranteed to win $22,994 at the game. If fewer than 15,000 tickets are sold by 5 p.m. Oct. 11, the guaranteed cash payout will not be available. The winner will be chosen from by random drawing during the game. To be entered into the drawing, every fan at the game, must fill out a contest form at one of the stadium entry gates.

TICKET INFORMATION

    Approximately 8,000 Coca-Cola Red Zone tickets (east stadium) remain for $5. These are available at all Toot-n-Totum locations in Amarillo. Red Zone tickets are not available at the WT ticket office. Regular-priced general admission seats are $10 for adults and $6 for youth/senior citizens. A limited number of reserved chairback seats are available for $20. These tickets are available at the WT ticket office (First United Bank Center) and all Panhandle Tickets outlets, including area United Supermarkets. The WT Ticket Office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the First United Bank Center. The ticket office WILL BE OPEN ON COLUMBUS DAY. Ticket office phone: (806) 651-1414.
    Please note: Athletics tickets on campus are sold only at the First United Bank Center.

HOMECOMING GAME DAY INFORMATION

    Game - No. 10 WTAMU vs. Eastern New Mexico, 6 p.m., Oct.13 At stake: bragging rights and the coveted Wagon Wheel trophy Tailgating - Open from 12-6 p.m. on game day. Alcohol is permitted for legal age adults up to kickoff in the designated alcohol area only. Free Pre-Game Concert featuring "Straight Shooter" - Tailgate Area, 3:30-5:30 p.m., presented by Amarillo National Bank Stadium Entry - Parking lot opens at 12 p.m. Stadium gates open at 4 p.m. (30 minutes earlier than normal).

    Parking - Additional parking is available on the east side of the stadium, off the pavement. Use the northeast or southwest stadium entrance for access to the additional parking. The east side parking lot off the pavement will accommodate several hundred cars. Additional parking areas will be made available around the stadium once the Kimbrough Stadium lot fills up.

During the Game

    - The Re/Max Sky Dive Team will fly into the stadium pre-game.
    - Halftime will feature the ENMU and WT bands, and the presentation of the Homecoming Court
    - The 1977 Missouri Valley Conference Championship team will be recognized during the pre-game festivities.
