Wednesday Evening Forecast
Good Wednesday afternoon. Another beautiful day is on tap for the region. Under a sunny sky with a southerly wind of 5 to 15 mph, temperatures will climb into the 80s area wide. The niceness of today will give way to breezy and hot conditions tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday. With a mostly sunny sky and southwest winds gusting over 35 mph, daytime temperatures will range from the upper 80s to the mid 90s for all three days. Also, with a surface dryline becoming established during this same time, a couple of rogue thunderstorms would not be out of the question on any given afternoon. However, for the storms to form, a substantial cap of warm air aloft would need to breached. At this time, the odds of this happening look to be low. Storm chances will increase slightly for Sunday and Monday as cold front drifts across the Panhandles. Afternoon temperatures will cool back into the upper 70s and low 80s for both days.
